SERVICE DESK COORDINATOR

 Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or extensive work experience in infrastructure and application support using System Aid or other Helpdesk ticketing systems, MS desktop and server operating systems, office products and computer hardware to supervise all Information Technology Service Desk staff and ensure that both internal and external clients receive the appropriate technology assistance required.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Certificate in ITIL, Microsoft is an advantage
  • 4-5 years work experience in help desk/service desk
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in leadership and supervisory roles
  • Critical thinking, Analytical and problem-solving skills

SENIOR MULTIMEDIA SUPPORT OFFICER

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or extensive work experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML scripting and WordPress, CMS applications, ITIL and Learning Management Systems to establish and execute the overall strategy for video and audio in NJSS and supervise members of the multimedia team.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • 4-5 years’ work experience in multimedia support and administration
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a supervisory role
  • Critical thinking, Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledgeable in producing video and audio content in both studio and conference setting and other events

SERVER & SECURITY OFFICER

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires technical knowledge and skills or extensive work experience in Network Engineering, Virtualization, Applications development, Storage & Security to ensure day-to-day management, control, and monitoring of NJSS sever infrastructure is fully functional.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Be an accredited Microsoft Certified System Engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Systems Administration
  • Ability to administer server-side technology and Networked computing systems
  • Ability to setup and configure server hardware and software

SENIOR NETWORK OFFICER

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires technical knowledge and skills or extensive work experience in Network Engineering, Virtualization, Applications development, Storage & Security, Leo Stream, Connection Broker, Autocad and Visio, Network monitoring Systems and video conferencing platforms and its administration to enable Network connections to IT services and ensure all users can get online simply, securely, and reliably.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
  • Have undergone and passed the CCNA Certification Training.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Network Administration
  • Knowledgeable in Windows Server Operating Systems (2008, 2012, 2019)
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft office 365

PAYROLL ACCOUNTING OFFICER

 Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or proven work experience in ALESCO payroll & JSIMS system, taxation, and superannuation administration, operating a computerized payroll system and mathematicallly competent with the ability to understand and accurately process a variety of standard payroll calculations.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Recognised Diploma qualification in Accounting, Business Management or Human Resource.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, data security & integrity of Alesco and JSIMS payroll systems always.
  • Ability to prepare fortnight and month endd report procedures within required timeframes.
  • Able to liaise with internal and external clients to ensure accurate and timely management of fortnight and month-end reconciliations.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & STAFF WELFARE OFFICER

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or extensive work experience in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations to assist staff in employment related matters such as contracts, health issues, disciplinary cases and cross-cutting issues.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business with Human Resource or Industrial Relations.
  • Understand PNG employment legislation and policy.
  • Ability to support and coordinate awareness-rising activities with HIV policies and other cross-cutting issues including Family and Sexual Violence reporting protocols and Disability for staff.
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate cross-cutting issues committee meetings to deal with complaints.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

TRAINING OFFICER - GENERAL SKILLS

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or related work experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training on broad range of soft skills in compliance with competency-based protocols in a large organisation.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Degree or Diploma in Education, Business or related field.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in similar role.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting and Analyzing Training Needs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER - ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Key Accountabilities, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

This position requires knowledge and skills or related work experience in administering all aspects of Organizational Development for officers of NJSS effectively and efficiently in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and legislations in place.

The Applicant must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or other Business Discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Human Resource Management or Administration.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices.
  • Be a Team player.
  • Sound knowledge of NJSS Admin Orders and other related legislations.
